In this critique, I got a lot of good feedback on my project where I recreated my mom and aunt's photos and outfits. A lot of people said that the clothes part of it didn't matter as much as I thought it did. They said that it added something to it, but that the photos weren't about the clothes. I got a lot of critiques saying that I should make the photos that were originally vertical, vertical and the make the horizontal ones horizontal to match the originals even more. Everyone seemed to like the same 3 photos the most- the yellow shirt, red shirt with green background, and the one in front of the shelves. I agreed with them because those 3 photos were my favorite. However, the yellow shirt photo needed a little more space above my head in the frame and I thought that too whenever I printed.
Project II // Future
I got really great feedback on this project. People loved the coloring and how realistic it looked. A lot of people said that the photos were really eerie and scary that this could be a possible future for us. The Lake Hefner one looked a little unreal compared to the others. The interior one got a lot of good feedback of how smooth it looked.
Final Project // Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
People really liked the taxi driver and the donut guy. I've got some ideas to take 90 photos just to get the 10 photos and also to take more photos of people in their habitat and area where they are often.
