The class liked the majority of my images for the color and the angles of them. They were interested in the fact that I photographed fake plants. The idea was brought up that I should photograph all fake plants and make a field guide to fake plants with random fakes that I've made up. I also thought that a dichotomous key would be a clever way of presenting my photos of fake plants. I think that the feedback I got was interesting and helpful.
Intimacy/Distance
In critique, I got a lot of good feedback on my photos. People liked the idea of the duality and comparison between the fridges and medicine cabinets. Also people could see the different personalities come through in these spaces. I was told to look at William Eggleston's photos of fridges as well to look more into people taking photos of the inside of fridges. I was also told that these would look good very large so you can look at each product more intensely. Also that it would be cool to see photos of a fridge or cabinet over time as products run out and are replaced.
